The 29th Annual Last Ride of the Year at the Stagecoach Cafe in Stockton, Alabama.
It is always on December 30th.
If it is cold and wet, we usually have 250 or 300 bikes and hard core riders show up.
If it is sunny and warm, we usually have around 600 bikes show up.
Folks start arriving around 8am and the parking lot will be empty again by about 2pm.
The cafe and their hard working staff will serve a great southern comfort food buffet.
There is no charge to attend the event, but pay for your food and tip the awesome wait staff.
All bikes are welcome.
Cruisers, tourers, sport bikes, adventure bikes, vintage bikes, dual sports, sidecars and trikes.
We have an awards ceremony at noon and you must be present to win.
We like to encourage young riders, so the youngest rider to ride their own bike from home to the event gets a plaque. Passengers are not eligible, because some of y’all would strap a baby seat on the back just for a plaque.
You can get a mc license at 14 in AL, so it is 14 and up to be eligible.
We like to encourage older riders, so the oldest rider to ride from home to the event gets a plaque.
We like vintage bikes, so the oldest bike ridden to the event gets a plaque. Trailering to the gas station across the street and riding from there does not count.
Jus sayin’.
We started out as a small group of Iron Butt riders getting together for a RTE (ride to eat), so we have an award for the longest distance ridden to the event since you left home.
Must be consecutive days of riding and if asked, you need to have Iron Butt style receipt documentation.
Usually takes well over 1500 miles to win this…
We have riders from all over attend…AZ, WA, CA, NV, CO, AR, FL, IL, MA, ME, NY, NJ, PA, TX, OK, and yeah, you get the idea.
One of the few events left with no vendors, no fees, no brand focus, just all types of riders meeting for lunch and sharing stories, kicking tires, eating good food, and loving life.
