Paddlers will have the chance to reunite in Solon for the traditional route down the Kennebec River or experience the third year of our new loop in Brunswick on the Androscoggin River.
Both paddles are family-friendly and perfect for all ages, skill levels and abilities. Registration is required and kayak and canoe rentals are available at each location.
Expanding the paddle to two rivers and making it a weekend-long event serves one purpose: to raise funds for Maine kids and adults with disabilities to experience freedom and independence at Pine Tree Camp. We are Maine's only American Camping Association-Accredited camp for people with disabilities and 100% of proceeds from this event directly benefit Pine Tree Camp's Open Door Policy, meaning no camper is turned away regardless of their ability to pay.
Prizes will be announced in the coming weeks! And keep an eye out for details on our 2nd Annual Hammond Lumber Cornhole for a Cause Tournament, at The Woodshed in Manchester on Friday, May 31st.
