Friday June 4th, 2021 6:30-9:00 PM Manhattan City Hall Auditorium – 1101 Poyntz
This is an educational session focusing on various aspects of fishing. Youths and accompanying adult (s) should arrive at 6:30 to finish enrollment. The session will start promptly at 7:00 pm and last about two hours. Parking may be an issue so plan ahead.
SATURDAY June 5th, 2021 9:30 AM TO NOON
Jerry Dishman Lake--Anneberg Park
3801 Anderson, Manhattan Youths and accompanying adult(s) should arrive no later than 9:15 am. Only youths who attended the Friday evening session may fish. The lake will be stocked with over 700 channel catfish. Enrolled youths will receive a free rod and reel to keep.
Six awards will be given:
Smallest fish—Girl & Boy
Heaviest fish—Girl & Boy
Heaviest stringer (3 fish) Girl & Boy
After the awards ceremony, youth will be given a free pizza lunch.
