We need volunteers and boats. If you don’t mind your boat getting a little muddy, bringing your boat to help it would be greatly appreciated. WE MEET AT 270 BOAT RAMP UNDER BRIDGE ON
LEAGUE CITY SIDE
15 & younger must be accompanied by adult or guardian. All PARTICIPANTS, PARENT or GUARDIAN must sign a release form. We will have forms each day or EMAIL me (Mike) for a form for you or your organization @ [email protected]
Starting the second week of January on Saturday and Sunday, we will have pre-weekend clean ups for the grand finale from 8 to 2 if you or your organization would like to come out and help it would be greatly appreciated.
Cleanup Preparation for Volunteers:

Please sign in before you leave out on a boat…
Boats will start departing from the 270 ramp at 8:45 am.
Boat captains will take volunteers and drop them off at selected locations where they will collect trash in bags provided by CCEF.
Volunteers and trash will be picked up and brought back to the 270 bridge between 12:00 and 1:00pm.
Starting @ 1:15 Trash collected on barges will be unloaded by volunteers and placed in the trash bins
Volunteers will get free lunch and a t-shirt after the cleanup.
Lunch provided by Esteban's Cafe and Cantina
How to Prepare:
Please be prepared for cold weather. Wear layered clothing. It is always colder on the water, consider the wind chill while traveling on the water. Work or rubber boots are recommended to wear. Be prepared to get muddy. Work gloves are recommended.
Every boat will have life jackets, drinking water and First Aid kits.
