About this Event

Please join us as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary!

Toronto Crime Stoppers began in 1984 and over the last thirty-nine years we have worked tirelessly to ensure criminals are made to account for their crimes and bring closure to all those affected. As a direct result of the program, Toronto Crime Stopper has received:

- 186,623 tips resulting in over 11,651 arrests and,

- 40,319 charges laid with over $66,914,000 in property recovered and,

- Over $318,500,000 in seized narcotics.

This past year alone the program helped solve homicides, abductions, human trafficking of individuals, identified fentanyl drug dealers, helped take guns off our streets and so much more.

As you can see, the Toronto Crime Stoppers program is effective and has been instrumental in helping change the face of criminal activity in Toronto; while helping to build a safer city by partnering with the community, media and the Toronto Police Service. The success of our community program is based on the unique conduit we offer citizens to anonymously provide police with information about a crime or potential crime without fear of retribution

Toronto Crime Stoppers does not receive government funding for the rewards it pays out and is solely dependent on fundraising initiatives, like the Chief of Police Dinner. This signature fundraiser not only sustains our capacity to offer rewards but also allows us to deliver important public awareness campaigns.

On behalf of the Toronto Crime Stoppers Board of Directors, thank you for your consideration in supporting the Chief Of Police Dinner.
