About this Event
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Indiana Holiday Commission, the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and the Indianapolis Jewish Community Relations Council will be hosting the 26th Annual State of Indiana Holocaust Remembrance Program on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 PM at the Indiana Statehouse.
This year's theme, "Righteous Among the Nations," honors the courageous individuals who risked their lives to protect and save Jews during the Holocaust. Recognized by Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial, as Righteous Among the Nations, these individuals exemplified remarkable bravery, compassion, and humanity in the darkest of times.
The program will reflect on the legacy of these heroes, whose selflessness provided hope amidst unimaginable atrocities. Through their stories, we are reminded of the profound impact that individual actions can have and the importance of standing against hatred and injustice.
Please join us as we pay tribute to the Righteous Among the Nations and reaffirm our commitment to remembrance, education, and the pursuit of a world free from intolerance.
This event is free and open to the public.
