About this Event
Join us for the Scholarly Dialogue with Dr. Laura I. Rendón for a thought-provoking and inspiring evening. The Scholarly Dialogue is one of the events held to celebrate 25 years of the Dr. Laura I. Rendón Scholarship, which is overseen by the ASU Chicano/Latino Faculty and Staff Association (CLFSA). CLFSA's 24-25 theme is Un Futuro Compartido, an idea which reflects our capacity to collaborate, support one another, and coalesce our talents to build a future where we all thrive.
The Scholarly Dialogue will be moderated by Dr. Antonio Duran, Associate Professor of Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation. Guests will have the opportunity to explore Dr. Rendón’s research on Validation Theory and discuss practical ways to advance higher education in supporting students.
This will be offered as a hybrid event.
The in-person event will be held at the ASU Tempe campus in Hayden Library room 236.
Appetizers will be served during check-in.
The virtual event will be held on Zoom.
