We are delighted to invite you to the Socrates in the City Black Tie Christmas Gala, celebrating 25 years of vibrant conversations and deep exploration of life’s most essential questions. This special evening will take place on December 10th at 6:00 PM at the prestigious Union League Club in New York City.
Since its founding, Socrates in the City has brought together thinkers, philosophers, scientists, authors, and artists to engage in thoughtful, in-depth conversations on topics that matter—the meaning of life, the nature of truth, and the pursuit of wisdom. We’ve been honored to host an extraordinary lineup of guests, from intellectual giants like John Lennox and Alice Von Hildebrand to cultural figures like Dick Cavett and Peter Thiel.
This year’s Gala will not only mark 25 years of Socrates in the City, but it will also coincide with the launch of our highly anticipated new book, Socrates in the City: Conversations on the Examined Life, which features the best conversations from our guests over the years, including John Lennox, Walter Hooper, Alice Von Hildebrand, Charlie Duke, Mark Helprin, Thomas Howard, Dick Cavett, and more.

Guests who purchase tables at the Platinum Sponsor or Legacy Patron level will automatically be invited to be a Socrates in the City Patron.
