Ever wonder what happens to a book when you put it in the book drop? Now is your chance to find out! Join us as we go behind the scenes of Beaverton City Library to see how books get to the shelves and ready for you to check out. Tours start on the hour and the half hour and last about 15 minutes.September 6-14, we're celebrating 25 years of the main library at 5th and Hall! On September 10, 2000, the new Beaverton City Library building on the northeast corner of 5th and Hall opened its doors with a grand celebration. Join us to celebrate our beautiful library building's 25th anniversary. In addition to special programming, we'll have scavenger hunts, crafts, historic photos, and more.
September is Library Card Sign-Up Month - if you don't have a WCCLS library card, it's the perfect time to get one. Tell your friends!
Note: The library will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 11 for staff training.
