On top of our normal rodeo events, we are celebrating 25 ππππ§π¨ π€π πππ 'πππ‘π ππππ' during our Sunday Afternoon Performance on April 20, 2025. Rodeos far and wide have tried to replicate it, but if you want the best, you have to be at the Red Bluff Round-Up on Sunday.
The idea of putting cowboys in costumes on rank horses was the brainchild of the legendary Cotton Rosser. In 2000, he pitched the idea to then-President Frank Moore. Since that fateful day, the event has gained national recognition and a devoted fan base throughout the rodeo world.
To mark this milestone, youβll notice this yearβs color scheme is silver and black to honor the Wild Rideβs Silver Anniversary.
Sunday afternoon begins at 1:30 p.m. but arrive an hour early for pre-rodeo events such as Mutton' Bustin' and our Wild Pony Race.
