On November 9th, 2024, we are hosting a SURPRISE event to celebrate Zhenia’s 25th anniversary as artistic director of Volya/Volya School, his 15th anniversary as artistic director of Koperoush and his 30th year in Canada. The event will be held at Festival Place in Sherwood Park and will consist of a performance followed by a catered reception. Tickets for adults will be by donation at a $50 minimum, kids (10-6) at a $25 minimum, and 5 and under will be free. If you are performing and would like to stay for dinner afterwards, you will be required to purchase a ticket.
The evening will be as follows:
4:00pm-5:00pm - set-up (if you would like to volunteer to help with setup, please message Odessa)
5:00pm-6:00pm - stage rehearsal
6:00pm - doors open for guests to arrive
6:30pm - surprise performance for Zhenia
7:15pm - dinner
8:00pm - program begins (speeches, live music by Ruta, etc.)
2am - event ends
