The event begins with our traditional breakfast at 9:00 am in the Michigan Rooms, followed by our program at 10:00 am. Guests external to UM-Flint will need to create an account in order to RSVP.Our keynote speaker is Lieutenant Colonel Derrick Britton (Ret.), United States Air Force and Air National Guard. Currently the Director of Genesee County Veterans Services, Lt. Col. Britton has enjoyed a lengthy and distinguished career in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard in both Indiana and Michigan, recently retiring in June 2024 after 32 years of service. His full biography is attached. We are excited and honored to welcome Lt. Col. Britton as our keynote speaker and as a dynamic and passionate partner of UM-Flint's Student Veterans Resource Center.
