Abstracts/Posters
Abstracts are due Novermber 26, 2025
All abstracts submitted to Pediatric Research Day are considered for poster presentation. Abstracts of note may be selected for oral presentation (please see below).
Groups presenting posters should designate one individual as the primary presenter. While all group members must register, only the primary presenter need submit the abstract.
Abstract Format:
Abstracts must be submitted in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format
File names should in the following format: AuthorLastName_AuthorFirstInitial_FirstThreeWordsofTitle.pdf (e.g., Schiering_R_AMetaanalysisOf.pdf)
All text must be in 11 pt. Times New Roman font
Pages must be single-spaced, with a 1” margin
Abstract titles may not exceed 200 characters, including spaces
Author name(s) and affiliation(s) only (no titles), with presenting authors listed first in bold, underlined font
Abstracts missing titles, authors, or author affiliations will not be scored.

Posters:
If you have submitted an abstract, please prepare a poster for presentation at our poster sessions. Presenters will be given a name tag and poster number at check-in.
Format:
Posters can be no larger than 4' x 6'
Oral Presentations
Abstracts submitted by trainees (undergraduate/graduate/medical students, residents, fellows, postdocs) and laboratory staff may be selected for oral presentation. Oral presentations are total of 15 minutes with 10 minutes, in PowerPoint format with a 5 minute question and answer . Presenters selected for oral presentation will be given adequate notice to prepare a presentation for their research.
Case reports will not be selected for oral presentation, nor will they be eligible for awards.
