Join us for the 24th Annual James Beard Benefit Dinner on October 25th, at The American.

This year’s Friends of James Beard Benefit Dinner celebrates Kansas City’s rising culinary talent with the theme Rising Stars: The Future of Kansas City’s Culinary Scene. The evening features a collaborative five-course menu plus canapés, crafted by some of the city’s most exciting chefs who are shaping the future of our dining scene.

Guests will enjoy an inspired five-course menu plus canapés from Jacob Moeller, Katie Liu-Sung, Jeff Workman, Andrew Longres, and Tia Throckmorton, each bringing their own unique story, style, and vision to the table.
Together, these chefs represent the rising voices of Kansas City’s culinary community, honoring tradition while pushing it forward in new and exciting ways.
This dinner supports the James Beard Foundation’s mission to celebrate, nurture, and honor chefs and other leaders making America’s food culture more diverse, sustainable, and inclusive for all.
