Get ready to rock, groove, and revel at the 24th Annual DeLand Original Music Festival on Saturday, November 16th, from 1 PM to 1 AM! This spectacular celebration of original music will light up the Historic Downtown DeLand District with over 120 incredible local and regional acts performing across 18 dynamic stages. With its charming atmosphere and vibrant energy, Downtown DeLand is the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable event!
From Rock and Jazz to Blues, Country, Hip Hop, Electronica, Folk, Christian Rock, Metal, and Reggae, there's something for everyone to enjoy! The festival will culminate with an electrifying performance by The Lightning Rods on the Main Stage, located right in front of the stunning Historic Courthouse. This amazing band, founded by Phil Weidner—our passionate event coordinator—honors his late father, a Ben Franklin motivational speaker. The band's mission is all about collaboration, bringing together talented songwriters and musicians for an unforgettable showcase!
But that’s not all! Prepare for a full day of excitement with art displays, unique vendors, a lively kids' karaoke contest, a community drum circle, and an array of mouthwatering food trucks and refreshing beer gardens. It’s a festival experience like no other!
The night will also shine with the 2024 SSA Music Awards, honoring outstanding talent in categories such as Songwriter of the Year, Song of the Year, Band of the Year, Musician of the Year, and Most Unique Style.
