24 HR NEW YEARS YOGA RETREAT - OCEANO DUNESCELEBRATE 2024 AND INVOKE YOUR HIGHEST VIBRATIONS AT THE DAWNING OF 2025.
Facilitated by:
Gabriel Remliel, Holly Hansen, and Carmen Sandoval -Aqimowon
*Dennis Ray Powell will be hosting a special Poetry Church offering by the fire.
All are welcome to attend as much as you are able to. We will be holding space in the lovely Oceano Dunes. Bring your own gear to camp out under the stars. This is a family friendly event.
There will be opportunities to share with the community any offerings you feel like contributing at this momentous occasion. Let us gather together with curiosity and wonder. This fellowship is a soulful gathering centered in unity.
This is NOT a full 24 hour program filled with things to do for 24 hrs. Everything at the event site is a special invitation, and you are more than welcome to choose your own way to engage. Please honor yourself if you feel called to observe silence or take a solo walk through the dunes.
We ask that from 1pm December 31st, to January 1st, you are in Retreat Mode. This may go without saying, but when you are preparing for a journey, the journey has already begun. Thus, after the journey, you are still feeling the energy and reflections from it. So in general, think of 1pm as the beginning of the retreat no matter where you are, even if you are only joining us for a small portion of the event.
IMPORTANT INFO:
You will need to pay for entry and camping at the vehicle pay booth.
There are two campgrounds before you enter the Oceano beach on the far south entrance. They both have showers for you to use. Many of us will dip in the ocean.
BE VERY AWARE OF THE TIMES OF HIGH AND LOW TIDES.
Dec 31st: High tide at 12am - 4.85ft.
Jan 1st: Low tide at 4am - 3.61ft
Jan 1st: High tide at 10am - 6.68ft
