UPDATE #5: 7:00 PM - April 9, 2022:
We regret to inform you that since JetBlue canceled Brian’s flight from D.C. to Orlando, putting him on a new flight arriving via Boston at 10:37 PM on Monday, April 11, “24 Second Embrace” will have no choice but to be postponed a fourth time – to Monday, April 10, 2023.
Taking Monday traffic into consideration, revised Embrace times, and all other updates will be announced at a later time here and on BrianFeldman.com.
The only other last-minute one-way flight option available to Brian was a red-eye arriving via Denver less than an hour prior to the first embrace in Daytona Beach for over $1,000. After consulting the calendar, there was also brief consideration about waiting until the next time National Siblings Day falls on a Sunday. Unfortunately, that’s not until 2033.
Suffice it to say, the final Embrace is the toughest. So thanks yet again for your patience and understanding.

UPDATE #1: 5:00 AM - April 10, 2019:
We regret to inform you that due to an illness (Brian), today’s “24 Second Embrace” has been postponed to Friday, April 10, 2020.
Brian rarely gets sick and has never done a project while ill, so this announcement marks the first time in Brian Feldman Projects’ 15-year history that a project has been postponed due to illness.
Taking Friday traffic into consideration, revised Embrace times and all other updates will be announced at a later time on this event page.
Thanks for your patience, understanding, and Happy National Siblings Day!

What’s the longest you’ve ever hugged your sibling?
This National Siblings Day (Sunday, April 10, 2022), award-winning performance artist plans to hug his sister, Adrienne McIntosh, for 24 seconds. In 24 cities. In one day.
“24 Second Embrace” is the thrilling conclusion to the “24 Embrace Trilogy,” following “,” Brian’s 2015 project which featured him and his mother sharing a hug for 24 minutes in 3 cities (Orlando, D.C., Philadelphia) on Mother’s Day, and “,” Brian’s 2011 project which featured him and his father sharing a hug inside of a boxing ring for the full 24-hour duration of Father’s Day.
Traversing 24 Central Florida cities in 6 counties, including every city in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties (alphabetically: Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Bay Lake, Belle Isle, Casselberry, Clermont, Davenport, Daytona Beach, DeLand, Edgewood, Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista, Lake Mary, Longwood, Maitland, New Smyrna Beach, Ocoee, Orlando, Oviedo, Sanford, St. Cloud, Winter Garden, Winter Park, Winter Springs), each city visited as part of “24 Second Embrace” represents each hour of National Siblings Day (a real holiday) “recognized annually in some parts of the United States on April 10, honoring the relationships of siblings. Unlike Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, it is not federally recognized... though the Siblings Day Foundation is working to change this.”
The public is invited to view “24 Second Embrace” in person in all 24 cities (exhaustingly detailed schedule provided below); a few locations require going through security. Additionally, the public is encouraged to bring their siblings... hug ‘em if you got ‘em! (Parents and grandparents welcome too.)
Originally scheduled for National Siblings Day in 2019, “24 Second Embrace” marks only the second time, in over 18 years of producing performance art events, that Brian Feldman Projects is presenting an in-person project in multiple cities in a single day. It also sets a new personal performance art record for him (24 cities in one day).
