Entries close: Entries close at 09:30 AM the day of the tournament.
Division: There will be 2 divisions: 1 handicap and 1 scratch.
Location: Bowl America Woodbridge, 13409 Occoquan Road, Woodbridge, VA 22191
Eligibility: All USBC Youth bowlers are eligible to enter this tournament.
Average: Bowlers will use their highest USBC 2024-2025 book average. If you do not have a book average, then your highest current league average of 21 games or more must be used. The latest league standing sheet must be available at the time of registration. If you do not have a league sheet or book average, you will bowl scratch which is 210.
Handicap: Handicap will be 90 percent of the difference between the bowler’s average and a scratch score of 210.
Tournament format and rules for both divisions: Five games will be bowled across ten lanes. Top Eight bowlers in each division will participate in a single elimination match play to determine the winners.
There must be at least 16 bowlers in a division to run that division. All bowlers must check in at least 30 minutes prior to start time. After each game, bowlers will move one pair to the right. If you reach the end of available lanes, you will go to the far end of available lanes to continue. Late bowlers will receive a zero for all frames missed. A frame will be considered missed when a bowler is not at his/her assigned lane ready to bowl. All scores will be recorded on the recap sheet provided and verified by another bowler. After your final game of qualifying, you will complete your score sheet and turn it in to a tournament official. Each bowler must sign his/her score sheet. Only bowlers and officials are allowed in the settee area
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A COLLARED SHIRT OR A USBC ISSUED SHIRT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS TOURNAMENT. ANY UNRULY BEHAVIOR FROM BOWLERS OR SPECTATORS CAN CAUSE THE BOWLER TO BE DISQUALIFIED AND EXPELLED FROM THE BOWLING CENTER FOR THE DURATION OF THE TOURNAMENT.
