About this Event
This project started out 23 years ago and the number of blankets we make goes up every year. Last year we made almost 700 blankets in one day! Come and join us in making blankets for the homeless. Here is some information on the day...
Bring 4 yards of fleece, ( Available from Vogue Fabrics, Hobby Lobby and Michael's ) and a pair of scissors to cut material and we'll show you how to make a cut and tie blanket. You absolutely don't have to need to know how to sew. Everyone is invited. Families, Work Groups, Friends, Scout Troops, Teams, etc - a great intergenerational project!
Come for an hour or stay all day - no reservation needed
Free refreshments for the blanket-makers.
Great project to earn service hours.
Blankets go to the Franciscan Outreach
