230th Annual Convention of the Diocese of Virginia

The Diocese of Virginia will gather for the 230th Annual Convention for fellowship, worship and to do the work that God has called us to do together.

This year, diocesan Annual Convention is open to voting members of Convention (Canonically Resident Clergy, Lay Delegates and Ex-Officio members) and non-voting members (Alternates, Clergy Under License, and non-voting Ex-Officio members).

Registration Is Free But Still Required to Attend

New this year, there is no registration fee for Annual Convention for Delegates, Alternates, and Clergy. But all members of Convention MUST REGISTER in order to attend. There will be no onsite registration.

Visitors

There will be room for a limited number of visitors. Visitors must pay a $50 registration fee. You will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite when you have successfully registered.

The proceedings will be livestreamed again this year for those non-voting members and guests who want to follow the proceedings from home. All voting members of Convention must be present to participate.

The deadline to register for Annual Convention is Friday, October 25, 2024.

THERE WILL BE NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE.

All voting will be done electronically. Each delegate must bring a mobile device – phone, tablet or laptop – on which they can access internet and their email in order to receive ballots and vote.
