Since taking the reins in 2015, NHC has proudly grown this beloved tradition into one of the most anticipated events of the year, drawing a huge crowd to West Mechanic Street to cheer on the queens, kings, and all who dare to race in heels.
The heels are high, the stakes are higher, and the drag is for days! Contestants will dash up and down West Mechanic Street in three-inch heels for this legendary New Hope tradition, once again hosted by the incomparable Miss Pumpkin. Arrive early, by 2:00 PM, before the streets close to grab a prime viewing spot and get in on the Halloween fun. DJ Gavin will keep the crowd energized with music leading up to the big race at 3:00 PM. Returning media sponsor 94.5 PST will be on site, be sure to stop by their tent. Interested in running?
