In recognition of National PTSD Awareness Month, Guitars for Vets is pleased to host its second annual 21 GUITAR SALUTE on June 21, 2021. This in person event will be held at Best Place at the Milwaukee’s Historic Pabst Brewery. Performances by Veterans, singer/songwriters and local bands, will be featured in addition to a fantastic silent auction. Experience the legendary classic rock band BADFINGER and dine on great chow courtesy of MISSION BBQ.Since the Vietnam War, more soldiers have committed suicide than have died in actual battle. Fortunately, many are now finding hope in an unlikely place: behind the wood and strings of an acoustic guitar. Your presence and participation at this event will ensure that Guitars for Vets can continue sharing the healing power of music with those that would lay down their lives for us.
