Support children and animals at the 20th annual Tim Kennard River Run, set for Sunday, March 2, from Salisbury Bible Fellowship in Salisbury, Maryland. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. and offers a 10-miler, competitive 5K and noncompetitive 5K "DOG" Walk.
The race benefits Coalition of Caring, TEAM 360 and the Eastern Shore Running Club Scholarship Fund.
The race features a flat and fast course through beautiful neighborhoods, and, for the 10-miler, also in Downtown Salisbury and along the Wicomico River. After crossing the finish line, enjoy a wide array of food, including pancakes.
There will be custom awards for the male and female overall, master and top three finishers in 15 age groups for the competitive 5K and in 13 age groups for the 10-miler. There are also cash prizes for the overall 10-mile and 5K male and female winners (1st-3rd) and for the top male and female master (40-59) and grand master (60+) in the 10-miler and 5K.
Packet pickup will be held Saturday, March 1, from 1-4 p.m. at the Evolution Craft Brewing Co. Public House and from 7-8 a.m. at Salisbury Bible Fellowship on race day.
