Join us for the 20th annual Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr., Salute to Excellence Luncheon presented by the NFL on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Ballroom as we continue our advocacy for parity and equal access for qualified African Americans and other minority candidates in the NFL and other sports. Your support of this event allows us to recognize organizations and individuals who are committed to diversity and inclusion.
The JCSE Luncheon, which attracted over 300 attendees last year, is dedicated to celebrating the remarkable contributions of individuals within the NFL. This highly sought after event leading up to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans will recognize the growing influence of female leadership in our league. The topic of this years roundtable discussion, Female Trailblazers: Women pioneers who are driving the professional sports industry will be led by Dasha Smith, Chief Operating Officer of the NFL, as the moderator of an impressive guest panel of influential women across sports. The discussion will also include NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Dan Rooney Lifetime Achievement Award: This award honors individuals who have dedicated their careers to improving the workplace environment in football, showcasing a long-term commitment to diversity and inclusion. Jeff Pash, retiring NFL Executive VP and General Counsel will be the recipient of this prestigious award. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has praised Pash for his leadership in negotiating collective bargaining agreements with the NFLPA and for his “dynamic and highly successful” record.
