20th Anniversary Conference of the Lebanese Psychological Association (LPA) on cross cultural psychology. September 21 & 22, 2024 in Beirut, in person.
The Lebanese Psychological Association is thrilled to announce the upcoming 20th Anniversary Conference which will be taking place under the patronage of the Lebanese Order of Psychologists - LOPsy in person, in Lebanon on Saturday September 21st and Sunday September 22nd of 2024.
The Lebanese Psychological Association was established in 2004 and has been one of the oldest and one of the most influential associations in Lebanon that shaped the regulation of the practice of psychology in the country.
The theme and the title for this conference is PSYCHOLOGY ACROSS CULTURES.
This international conference will take place in Lebanon on Saturday September 21 and Sunday 22, 2024 in (Venue in Lebanon will be determined soon).
This conference serves as a premier platform for the exchange of cutting-edge research and insights in the field of human & behavioral sciences.
PS: Any person can attend this conference. Not only psychologists and students in psychology. Any person interested in this topic is allowed to attend. Even non mental health professionals. Any person from the general community can attend. The fee would be 60$ for you. Same fee as non-LPA, non-student.

Free for ALL LPA members from ALL categories. Any LPA member can attend this day for free.
For non-LPA members:
60$ for non-students (Mental Health Professionals or not)
40$ for students with proof of being a student
➡️Sunday September 22: Workshops Day
You will have 4 workshops to choose from. You can attend one or two only.
Workshops are not free for anyone. A fee will apply to everyone interested in attending a workshop (or 2 workshops).
Fees to be determined soon.
Workshops are open exclusively to mental health professionals and to master & PhD students in a field related to mental health.
Unfortunately workshops are NOT open to undergraduate students or to non-mental health professionals.
LPA is delighted to be hosting the president of the American Psychological Association (APA) Dr. Cynthia de Las Fuentes in Beirut, as an in-person keynote speaker at this conference (in-person, NOT online), along with other speakers from the American Psychological Association as well, one of whom will be delivering a workshop during this 2-day conference.
The scientific agenda will be posted soon.
Continuing Educational (CE) credits from the Lebanese Order of Psychologists will be provided for those who attend the conference and/or the workshops.
Official Registration will open on August 1st, 2024 on the following website www.lpa2024.com . Registration will only be official if done on that website. But for now official registration is NOT open yet. It will open on August 1st. Official registration is only free for LPA members. For non-members plz see fees above.
