About this Event
The Montgomery County Commission for Women and our many co-sponsoring organizations invite you to the 2026 Women's Legislative Briefing. The purpose of the Briefing is to inform the residents of our state about legislative proposals before local, state, and national legislative bodies that address issues of specific concern to women.
This year's theme is: Stronger Together: Leading with Vision, Voices, and Values

- 11:30-12:30 pm: Registration and Resource Fair
- 12:30-1:00 pm: Opening Session
- 1:00-2:10: pm: Plenary Panel
- 2:10-2:30 pm: Break and Networking
- 2:30-3:30 pm: Breakout Session 1
- 3:30-4:00 pm: Break and Networking
- 4:00-5:00 pm: Breakout Session 2
Again this year: Special seminars will be offered for students in grades 6 - 12 through our Emerging Leaders track.
Early Bird Registration: $45.00 (through January 23, 2026 at 5:00 pm)
Regular Registration: $55.00 (January 23, 2026 at 5:01 pm through the event day)
Student Price: $10.00
The Montgomery County Commission for Women has established a tuition scholarship to support a high achieving student at Montgomery College who is pursuing a major in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). Please consider supporting this worthy cause when registering for the WLB.
