The general public is invited to attend the 2026 Tazewell County Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Forum at Five Points Washington on Thursday, January 15th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Scheduled to participate are candidates Darren Bailey, Ted Dabrowski, and James Mendrick. This forum will be moderated by Tazewell County's own Dean Kaisner who has moderated many important local and statewide forums and debates in the past.Firing J.B. Pritzker is critical to restoring integrity and sanity back to Illinois government, and these candidates are vying to win the Republican nomination in the March 17th, 2026 General Primary election to advance to the November ballot to win the Illinois Governor seat.
There is a maximum occupancy of 1000 attendees at the Five Points Washington auditorium and admission is free. If time permits, there will be a short Meet & Greet following the forum.
