Conference Overview
The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) proudly presents the 2026 Region I Regional Medical Education Conference (RMEC), hosted at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix (UACOM-P).
SNMA is the nation’s oldest and largest independent, student-led organization dedicated to supporting underrepresented minority medical students, addressing the needs of underserved communities, and advancing culturally competent and socially conscious physicians.
RMEC is Region I’s signature annual academic and professional development conference, bringing together premedical students, medical students, residents, and faculty from across:
Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawai‘i, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
What to Expect
Attendees will experience a robust weekend of:

Including application prep, MCAT sessions, and mentorship.

UACOM-P is located in the heart of downtown Phoenix with multiple parking options:
