After completion of some final details the 2026 Moth National Titles are *officially* confirmed:**Location: McCrae Yacht Club, Victoria**
**Dates: 05-10 January 2026**
For the first time since 2023 at St George, the Nationals will see a combined fleet of moths - Foilers and the Scow and Lowriders competing in one location on separate courses. An opportunity for a rehearsal prior to the Perth Worlds. Concurrently, the Nikki's will be conducting a series - under the guise of junior class 'sponsored' by the the mothies.
Couple admin points:
* McCrae Yacht Club has offered to run 'facilitated practice' on the Sunday 4th - which may also constitute an invitation race - details to be confirmed
* Camping is available in the vicinity of McCrae - Foreshore Camping run by Mornington Shire. McCrae Yacht Club has offered to coordinate a reserve booking - If you are interested in camping, I will be releasing a survey in the next couple of days. This will be used to provide an indication of numbers for the block booking.
* A couple of social events are planned as well - details to follow.
* If anyone is interested in assisting as volunteers, let me know, RO's, rescue boat drivers, sandwich makers, ...
A couple of details as to McCrae Yacht Club:
* Canteen facilities – open every day racing is scheduled
* Bar facilities – open at the conclusion of sailing each day
* Secure boat storage with security lighting and boat wash facilities.
* Briefing room, including whiteboard & TV for playback of regatta footage.
* A large rigging lawn and flat, sand beach with shallow water for easy launching and retrieval.
* Extensive free car and trailer parking which is easily accessed.
* Spectator viewing on our upper deck balcony, including lift access.
The Notice of Race is in progress and the plan is to release in July, at which time entries will officially open.
