Let's ROSC and Roll...Can We Use the Vent as a Bridge to the Stent?
Host: Dr. Roger M. Stone, MD, MS, FACEP, FAAEM

Info: For years emphasis has been placed on manual ventilatory techniques, starting with the bag valve mask (BVM). Evidence shows that BVM does not assure consistent ventilatory management matching physiologic needs. We initiated a "ROSC bundle of care" to ensure that basic tasks were completed prior to moving resuscitated patients. In this session we will recap pertinent literature related to the limitations of manual ventilation in achieving optimal ventilatory environments, then discuss the addition of transport ventilators to the ROSC bundle of care and will share data generated about the success of this advance protocol in improving OHCA metrics.

Operating in the Gray: Decision-Making and Team Performance Under Pressure
Host: Dr. Preston B. Cline , Ed.D

Info: Delivering high-level care in the field - whether in critical care transport, EMS operations or complex rescue environments - requires more than clinical expertise. It demands the ability to operate as part of a tactical swarm: small, adaptable teams that communicate, decide, and act with speed and precision during high-stress, rapidly evolving situations. This four-hour workshop challenges participants to think and operate differently. Using the Mission Critical Team framework participants will explore how to build, train, and sustain teams capable of performing in uncertainty - when information is incomplete, roles overlap, and decisions must be made in real time. Far from a lecture, this workshop is a high-engagement, team-based experience - more like a hackathon than a classroom. Participants should come ready to think, collaborate and problem-solve alongside peers from across EMS and critical care transport.

πŸ•‘: 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Obstetric Critical Care Workshop
Host: FlightBridgeEd Team
