Entry Fees and Registration:
o Adults (17 and over): $20
o Youth (16 and under): $5
o Limited Edition Package: $50 — includes entry fee plus a 2026 Women’s Fishing Legends T-Shirt. (T-shirt quantities are limited — pre-order early to avoid missing out!)
Entries are now online via Jotform — simply fill out and pay through into the bank account provided on our event page or social posts.
Entries close at 9:00 pm, Thursday 5 February 2026.
Purchase of an entry is deemed acceptance of these rules.
Prize Categories
Main Species
• Heaviest Snapper – 1st, 2nd, 3rd
• Heaviest Kingfish – 1st, 2nd, 3rd
• Heaviest Other Fin Fish – 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Sharks cannot be entered)
Special Categories
• Mystery Weight – Up to two Snapper per entrant
• Skipper’s Prize(s)
• Best Dressed Skipper
• Most Gear Lost / Story of the Day
• Youth / U16 Category – Mystery Weight only
• Best Photo Competition – Upload your photos to the Martins Bay Women’s Fishing Legends Facebook Page by 3:00 pm. The photo with the most likes will win the Mystery Prize.
Spot Prizes
• A range of spot prizes will be drawn after prizegiving, including the Major Spot Prize
• All adult entrants are eligible for spot prizes, regardless of whether a fish has been weighed in.
Competition Rules
Start Time & Live Bait Rule:
Fishing commences 9:00 am sharp, signalled from the beach.
Boats must not go beyond the Martins Bay five-knot markers before the start.
Catching live bait only prior to 9:00 am is allowed, but boats must return inside the five-knot zone before the start signal.
Weigh-In:
Weigh-in begins at 2:30 pm at the Weigh-In Stations inside Martins Bay Holiday Park.
Fish must be in the queue by 3:00 pm sharp — NO EXCEPTIONS.
Someone may hold your place, but you or your catch must be physically in the line by 3:00 pm, or it will be disqualified from
