Welcome all race fans to the 2026 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona party!! Pre race begins at 13:00 and the green flag drops at 13:40. This year will be hosted again at the Southwind Racing Training Center. The address is in the invite. Make sure to wear your favorite team colors or merchandise! We will have three TVs going!!!. One will be in the garage which will be the larger sitting area with another tv showing life timing for the race. Yes don’t worry the garage is heated., and the bathroom is only a short stroll away. We also have a TV going in the basement where there is a pool table to use to pass the time and bar area which will have drinks, ice, and pop corn machine. It will be periodically staffed. We will also have a TV in the living room for a quieter sitting area..
There will be 2 different competitions this year during the party in which you can win prizes and a trophy!!!
1. Just like last year we will be doing timed laps around Daytona Road course on the SWR training simulator! You can pick from two different classes each has their own trophy. More details on the different classes to come later.
2. There will be a bingo competition made, especially for the race just like last year it’ll be slightly larger so my mom doesn’t win as quickly this year and there will be a prize for fastest completion and most completed in 24 hours.
This is a great event fun for all ages. Anybody who’s a race fan this is the party to attend! Food and drinks will be provided, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you bring something of your own if you wish to share.
We will have plenty of parking if you wish to stay for the whole 24 hours, which many people will.
We will have the N8IL Commemorative Ham Radio station set up also making contacts into the night..
Friday, and early Saturday will be party set up if anyone wishes to help out.
