This year’s conference brings together local government professionals for a full day of connection, insight, and practical learning.
The day begins with a keynote from ICMA CEO and Executive Director Julia Novak, setting the tone for thoughtful and forward-looking leadership. Breakout sessions will focus on leading with energy and purpose, navigating burnout, stepping up with or without formal authority, preparing for the manager’s role, and exploring practical topics that shape our daily work — from economic development tools to police liability. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in open, candid dialogue with experienced leaders.
