Please join us at our 2026 Greater West Bloomfield United We Walk event honoring the life and legacy of Dr Martin Luther King Jr on Sunday January 18th, 2026 at West Bloomfield Middle School!
We will gather at 1:45pm and programming including our keynote by Kenneth Gutman and performances by Laker Express and Legacy Dance Studio will go from about 2-3pm. We will then spend time visiting our storytelling room and other activities for the kiddos for learning and inspiration and we’ll wrap everything up completing service projects for Hospitality House and City Covenant Church.
We will be collecting cereal, granola and breakfast bars. instant oatmeal packets, and plastic grocery bags in WB Schools, WB libraries and WB Twp offices for collections leading up to the event but please don’t hesitate to also bring these items right to the event as well!
We will have warm soup on hand courtesy of Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital and there will be no shortage of love and community which we need now more than ever so please come join us and feel it, too!♥️
