Give A Kid A Coat, a program that solicits coat donations from area residents to give to those in need, received 18,405 coats in 2025. Since its inception in 1987, over 1,000,819 coats have been collected and cleaned for Give A Kid A Coat.We're excited to kick off our 39th annual campaign on January 2, 2026. The collection campaign will run through February 7, 2026. How does it work? Residents who wish to participate simply need to check their closets for outgrown coats or coats they no longer wear and drop them off at any A Cleaner World location during the campaign dates. A Cleaner World will clean, press, and perform minor repairs on the coats before they are given to The Salvation Army for distribution. Please reach out to your local Salvation Army branch for details on where to get the coats during their distribution events.
