Join the Duluth Climbers Coalition for our annual celebration of winter climbing at Quarry Park! QP features both natural and farmed ice climbs, plus the finest concentration of mixed and dry tool routes in the Midwest. This means that at the Duluth Ice & Mixed Fest there's something for everybody and there's climbing to be had regardless of temps or conditions. This year, in addition to open Saturday climbing, Midwest Mountain Guides (our long time festival partner) will provide Friday and Saturday clinics including introductory ice climbing sessions, twilight climbing, and LGBTQ+ and BIPOC sessions. Plus, on Saturday, we'll be offering up our signature campfire treat, sizzling bacon, free of charge!The party continues Saturday evening at the nearby American Legion Post 71 where a $20 entrance donation to the DCC will gain you access to a featured speaker, all the pizza you can eat, and a raffle ticket for awesome swag!
