Endowed by Our Creator: Science, Faith, and the American Idea
In 2026, the United States celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, which proclaims that “all men are created equal” and “are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.” These words have inspired not only generations of Americans, but millions of people around the globe yearning for dignity and freedom. But how do we know the words of the Declaration are actually true?
At the time of America’s Founding, the Declaration’s propositions drew support both from the Bible and the natural philosophy (that is, science) of the era. Unfortunately, in the decades that followed, Charles Darwin and others tried to hijack science and use it as a battering ram to undermine human equality and human rights. But now the discoveries of science are once again pointing to the truths announced in the Declaration.
Join us for this year’s conference as we explore how science is showing that God purposefully created life and endowed each human being with reason and creativity, moral responsibility, and an immortal soul.
*Please note: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, teacher, or sponsor.
