1. Complete your BLM application and have it ready to attach to your application. Online Corral and previously approved applications will not be accepted. You must complete the application found at: https://www.blm.gov/sites/blm.gov/files/4710-010.pdf
2. Complete the event application online (coming soon).
𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗞-𝗨𝗣 & 𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: Date TBD and pick-up will be held at the Boise Corrals. If someone other than the competitor is the named adopter of the animal, they will need to be present at pick up to complete the necessary paperwork.
A preview of the available animals will take place ahead of pick-up at the Boise Corrals. For those who cannot be present, photos will be shared on the Facebook group. All animals will meet Forever Branded eligibility requirements for each division. The competitor or adopter will make a selection of 5-7 animals they wish to adopt and provide that list to Forever Branded. Animals will be assigned based on when the competitor's application was received and animal availability.
New this year: NO color restrictions! Horses of any color will be eligible. An online auction will be held surrounding the event to allow competitors a platform to rehome their animals, if they wish. Participation is completely voluntary.
𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 & 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘: Branded Bonanza is geared toward the novice horseman and designed to be a supportive atmosphere where folks can grow their horsemanship and their community along the way. Adult and youth can compete in in-hand and riding divisions, depending on their comfort level.
𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦: Every competitor who returns to compete at the competition will receive $500. In addition, both division awards (cash awards to Top 10, neck ribbons to Top 10, champion buckle, and reserve award), individual class awards (ribbons for Top 10, champion buckle, reserve award), AND specialty awards are offered.
𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦: The competition will take place 8/7/26 and 8/8/26 at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, ID. The open show will be 8/9/26. For more info on the open show, check out the event listing: https://www.facebook.com/events/1456964098697956/
𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗚: A digital catalog of available horses and burros will be available ahead of the event. It is solely at the competitor's discretion of whether they would like to offer their animal for reassignment following the competition.
