Outline: The 2026 Australian Lambretta Muster (AKA Jamboree) will be hosted in Victoria in Australia’s self proclaimed Hot Rod Capital of Castlemaine, commencing PM Friday 27 Mar and wrapping up AM Monday 30 Mar 26. The Muster will be centered on The Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park, 1 Doran Avenue, Castlemaine. The Holiday Park offers a range of accommodation from luxury glamping, spacious villas, an accessible villa, comfortable cabins, as well as pet-friendly powered and unpowered sites but get in quick and book. Mention the Australian Lambretta Muster and they will endeavour to accommodate you near like-minded folk. No discount is available unless you book for 4 or more nights or are a Big 4 member.
Planned agenda so far:
PM Friday 27 Mar 26: check-in Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park (Big4) with an informal meet and greet at the Bridge Hotel Castlemaine Beer Garden (5min, 400m walk from Holiday Park).
AM Sat 28 Mar 26: A coffee van will be provided at the Holiday Park from 8-10am prior to a Ride Out and lunch at a country pub
PM Sat 28 Mar 26 (afternoon): 2pm Gymkhana at Sunken Oval (5min, 350m walk at entrance to Holiday Park) followed by a Show ‘n’ Shine in vicinity of Holiday Park visitors car park at 4pm - there will be a Cocktail Van in location of the Show ‘n’ Shine from 4-6pm.
In the evening from 7pm there will be trophy presentations for the Show ‘n’ Shine at Bridge Hotel Castlemaine function room (closed event). DJ’s (Von S Head (Chris) and Dave Slater) and two bands (The Electric Relfs and The Predawn Civilisation) will entertain us into the evening (open event).
AM Sun 29 Mar 26: A coffee van will be provided at Holiday Park from 8-10am prior to a Ride Out and lunch at a country pub. The Ride Out will then continue through country Victoria with a return to Holiday Park approx. 4pm when the cocktail van will return for refreshments through to 6pm.
PM Sun 29 Mar 26: Dinner will be provided at the Holiday Park courtesy of Lambretta Malaya Sudney members.
AM Mon 30 Mar 26: Depart Castlemaine under own arrangements.
Additional points:
Meals/refreshments: All meals and refreshments are at individuals’ expense (except Sun evening) so plan for that. The Bridge Hotel Castlemaine does have V/VE/GF food options but might be a bit limited - check their menu at https://thebridgehotelcastlemaine.com/ closer to the event.
Accommodation: The Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park will fill quickly so book soon. There are other accommodation options in Castlemaine however most activities will be centered on the Holiday Park.
