THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE OR SNOW EVENT! It will only be cancelled if there is an ice storm. The purpose of the Polar Bear ride is to welcome in the new year on 2 wheels, no matter the weather.
I will have the pre-ride safety meeting by the big Loveless Cafe sign at 11am. Please be gassed up and ready to go before then. KSU will be 11:15. I will lead the group down the Natchez Trace and we’ll stop at the Hwy 96 Bridge to take a group photo. Then we’ll head to Fox and Locke in Leiper’s Fork where we’ll stop to grab some food and hang out for a little. If the day turns out to be nice and people want to ride more, I’ll lead the group on a roundabout ride to Downtown Nashville where we’ll park on 2nd Ave and hit up a honky tonk.
This ride is open to all brands of bikes. Please make sure your motorcycle is in good condition and your insurance is up to date. Pay special attention to your tires as cold weather may have dropped your pressures.
Dress for the weather! I expect to be at Leiper’s Fork at noonish. The roundabout way to downtown Nashville would take approximately 1.5hrs additional.
If you are too far away to come ride with me, at least go out for a little ride wherever you are! 😎🏍
