2026 Alcohol Free for 40 | Labs + Metrics [Monroe]

It’s time for our annual Alcohol Free for 40 (AFF40) Challenge!
The mission is simple: Give up alcohol from Mardi Gras through Easter and use the 40 days as a personal experiment. You’ll receive pre- and post-challenge labs + metrics ($450 value) to see exactly how the break impacts your sleep, energy, mood, gut, labs, and overall well-being.

• Comprehensive lab panel (fasting not required)
• Body composition analysis
• Blood pressure
• Before + after photos
• All metrics performed by Ochsner Health & Eat Fit

Registration: $59 + tax. Limited to the first 100 participants

Pre-Challenge Metrics: Thursday, February 19, 8 AM–4 PM
Post-Challenge Metrics: Thursday, April 2, 8 AM–4 PM

Please attend at your scheduled appointment times.

Any self-scheduled or altered appointments will be corrected to the official dates and times above.

Your “preferred appointment time” is not a confirmed time.
Our team will place your lab orders and schedule your appointments manually within one week.
Once scheduled, you’ll see your appointment in MyOchsner.

Most communications—including your appointment details—will be sent via email.

These are the only dates body comp will be conducted for AFF40.

During registration, please provide:
Full legal name, gender, race, date of birth, physical address, best email + phone.
(All information is confidential and required for lab ordering.)

• All labs + metrics are performed on-site only at Ochsner LSU Health | Monroe Medical Center.
• Labs cannot be done at alternative locations.
• Check in as you would for a routine Ochsner appointment.
• Fasting is not required.
• Wear comfortable clothing; you’ll remove shoes/socks and large jewelry for body composition.

• Body composition + blood pressure: given immediately
• Before/after photos: emailed within two weeks after the challenge
• Lab results: available in MyOchsner
