Join us for the 2025 Spring Horseman's Bootcamp, hosted by the Connecticut Morgan Horse Association, Massachusetts Morgan Horse Association, and the United Professional Horseman's Association in partnership with Lingering Hill LLC! This two-day program is your ticket to excellence in horsemanship, showmanship, and sportsmanship!Your Event Highlights
Day One - Friday (optional)
Welcome reception at the Flying Canoe, home of Morgan Horse Bourbon. Light snacks and cocktails will be provided as well as a s’mores bar for junior riders.
Day Two - Saturday
Kick off the weekend with expert trainers who will work closely with riders to enhance your skills, encourage trying new techniques, and provide invaluable feedback on our lesson horses. For those wanting to work with their own horses, an additional day fee is available – so bring your equine partner along!
You’ll join “Round Table” sessions, diving into crucial topics like new USDA rules, information on micro-chipping, and much more to keep you informed and prepared.
A suit specialist, will be onsite to share her secrets to make sure you are show-ready – you’ll look like a million bucks!
*As the day wraps up, join us for the Season Opening Night Gala, celebrating the start of the 2025 Competition Season with friends, fun, and festive excitement!
Day Three - Sunday
It’s time to shine! Take all that you’ve learned and showcase your skills in a mini-horse show style exercise.
You’ll receive constructive feedback from our expert trainers to ensure you leave the bootcamp feeling confident and ready to take on the show ring!
This program is open to everyone, no matter your experience level or discpine – all are welcome! For those who prefer to observe and learn without riding, a reduced registration fee will apply.
