The speaker will be Renee Graham. The talk is tilted "To Resist is to Exist — A Conversation with Renée Graham"
Ms. Graham is an opinion columnist and associate editor for the Boston Globe’s op-ed section. She writes on a variety of subjects including race and racism, domestic violence, LGBTQ issues, police misconduct, and politics.
During an earlier previous stint at the Globe, Graham was a feature writer, culture columnist, and critic.
Graham has been a contributor to several CNN Original Series, the acclaimed documentaries documenting the decades of the 20th century.
Ms. Graham was a featured commentator in the four-part original documentary, “1968: The Year That Changed America,” also on CNN and in Netflix’s “ReMastered: The Two Killings of Sam Cooke,” about the legendary soul singer and civil rights activist who was murdered in 1964.
She was also a prominent voice in W. Kamau Bell’s “We Need to Talk About Cosby,” a Peabody Award-winning documentary about reckoning with Bill Cosby, the once beloved comic icon who was also a serial sexual predator.
Graham was also a contributor to the 2024 book, “Wake Up America: Black Women on the Future of Democracy,” edited by Keisha Blain
