Join us in Santa Fe for WildEarth Guardians' Gala as we gather in community, celebrate wins, talk about the future of the WILD, and how we can join together to protect it. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome our new Executive Director, Sean Stevens, as a featured speaker. Guardians staff, along with Sean, will share how our history in this movement gives us the strength and tools to meet the growing threats to New Mexico’s and the West’s wild places.
Sean has spent more than 20 years protecting public lands, wildlife, and wild places in the West. Before joining WildEarth Guardians, he led Oregon Wild for over a decade, expanding Wilderness and Wild & Scenic River protections, strengthening logging laws, and launching new wildlife and climate programs. As Guardians’ new leader, Sean brings both experience and passion to guide us boldly into the future while staying true to our mission.
Join us and raise a glass, connect with fellow supporters and Guardians staff, and celebrate the power of community and action. You'll enjoy live music from local band Seanchai, a vibrant cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine, and a flavorful dinner featuring vegetarian tamales, Southwestern-inspired salads, oven-roasted achiote-rubbed salmon, and free-range chicken.
Throughout the evening, you’ll also have the chance to explore our silent auction, hear exciting updates from our conservation team, and take part in a special fundraising moment to support the next chapter of Guardians' work.
