About this Event
The Western Landscape Symposium is an educational forum to promote the creation of appealing and sustainable landscapes in southeastern Colorado, incorporating water wise garden practices and plants adapted to local climate and soil conditions. We’re very excited to announce our Keynote Speaker, host of the national award-winning weekly public radio program and podcast Cultivating Place: Conversations on Natural History and the Human Impulse to Garden Jennifer Jewell. Jewell will be speaking to our audience about “What We Sow in Cultivating our Places”, which will focus on energizing and inspiring cultivators in their horticultural work and remembering why it is so critically important in our world right now to value this kind of work as highly as anything we do in our lives. Four other speakers will present educational forums that promotes appealing, sustainable, water-wise landscapes and bountiful edible gardens in southeastern Colorado.
