Hello Brew City Browns Backers!Well, another season is upon us and currently we are tied with the best record in all of football! And while absolutely no one picks the Browns to make any noise this year, it honestly cannot be worse than last season (right? right?....).
We got Flacco back in the drivers seat. We have Myles back and added some new defensive weapons to take some heat off him. Yea, the offense and running game are a question mark, but we have a great punter and our defense should be top 5/elite!
We are back at the Milwaukee Brat House all season (a couple games will be at Wurst Bar due to Packers bus conflicts, we will keep the group posted). With Adam leaving Great Lakes end of last season, we are still waiting on any giveaways planned with the new rep (if/when they get one). As for now, we will have GLBC Midwest IPA on tap and 73 Kolsch in cans (tho GLBC got rid of tallboys :( so our can stacking will get shorter). Other details we will post during the season like shirts and other events.
Week 1 - we have Mr. Burron and Co coming to Cleveland. Joe only has 3 wins against the Browns since coming into the NFL, and 2 came against us last season and the 3rd in a meaningless final week after we clinched playoffs a couple years ago. So I like our odds. However, Browns haven't been stellar in Week 1 wins - only winning 3 times since 1998 - woof! Sunday is 66 and sunny with no rain in Cleveland so will be perfect football weather!
