Located 20 minutes away from scenic Newport, this is a great place for the whole family, boasting TWO arcades, a pro shop, gym, snack bars and Sports Kitchen- a full restaurant and bar, all onsite. We would like to thank the Rhode Island Sports Commission for welcoming us.
Springfest will include A, B, C/Novice Women's divisions and U19 & U14 girls divisions. Our C/Novice Women's division is great for those who have never played tournament hockey and are newer to the sport. Experience the tournament atmosphere in a fun, supportive environment. Teams that entered the C/Novice division at Oktoberfest/Springfest in the past are welcome to enter the same division again.
All UWBHF tournaments are open to women, transgender, and non-binary players ages 12+ We encourage teams as well as individuals to sign up.

Free agents will be connected with existing teams for placement. If you have friends interested in playing, we can try and group you all together. We will reach out as we get closer to the tournament with more details.
There is a $200 deposit for teams. We will have limited space so please send your deposit in as soon as possible to guarantee your team’s spot. The team fee is $850, due April 12th. A $50 discount will be applied if you submit your roster, have waivers signed, and send payment by April 5th. You can mail a check payable to UWBHF 70 Cliff Ave, Winthrop, MA 02152 or pay with a card by navigating our website to the Play > UWBHF Tournaments tab. Scroll down until you see the "UWBHF Tournament Fee - Pay now" button in blue.
Roster limit is 18 for all women's divisions (including goalies.) Roster limit is 22 for youth divisions. B division is allowed 5 crossover A-rostered players, with a max of two players from our A-restricted list. You could have 2 restricted and 3 crossovers, 1 restricted and 4 crossovers, 0 restricted and 5 crossovers. A Crossover player is a player who is playing on an A roster during Oktoberfest 2024.
An A-restricted player list can be found on our website under the Play > UWBHF Tournaments tab. C/Novice division is allowed 3 crossover B-rostered players, but no restricted/rostered A players. 19U Future Stars players are not allowed to play in the Novice C division.

All money raised through this tournament, as well as all other UWBHF-sponsored events, will go directly into helping grow the women’s game. We want to thank everyone for their time and consideration and hope to spread the love of our sport throughout the United States and abroad!
