Join us for an exciting evening of celebration and innovation at the 2025 Tumu Hawke’s Bay Young Enterprise Scheme Regional Awards! This event shines a spotlight on the entrepreneurial talent of the region’s brightest students as they compete for the top prize. The Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) is a national programme where students set up and run their own businesses over the course of the school year. From developing their first idea, to creating a product or service, to pitching, selling and managing finances, YES equips students with the skills and confidence to thrive in the business world. In Hawke’s Bay alone, more than 400 students have taken part this year, supported by local mentors, sponsors and teachers.
Earlier in the day, the top eight teams from across Hawke’s Bay will pitch their innovative business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges. From these teams the top two teams, one from Hawke’s Bay North and one from Hawke’s Bay South, will be crowned regional winners and will advance to the YES Nationals in Wellington this December.
The evening awards will celebrate not just the winners, but the innovation, teamwork, and perseverance of every team that has taken part. With live pitches, awards, and networking opportunities, it’s a fantastic chance to support the next generation of Hawke’s Bay business leaders.
