Every year, our local Greenville community comes together to hear firsthand the important work underway right here to save our families from the devastating effects of addiction. All funds raised are used the support the work of the Phoenix Center and its evidence based programs. We would love to have you join us and support our efforts.
This year, we are excited to announce a very special guest speaker, Richard Cabral. Emmy-nominated actor Richard Cabral starred for 4 seasons as ‘Coco’ on the hit FX series "Mayans M.C.", garnering a Critics Choice Award nomination for his work, and more recently was seen on a special event episode of "Law & Order: SVU." He is currently appearing on the new Peacock limited series "Twisted Metal" alongside Anthony Mackie.
Among many other credits, Richard also created a one-man show "Fighting Shadows" based off his life as a former gang member who was rehabilitated through Homeboy Industries. He has performed the play to numerous sold-out audiences and is currently developing it into a full-length feature film. Richard additionally produced and starred in the feature "Khali the Killer" that is being distributed by Millennium.
