2025 Trans Day of Remembrance

Note, you do not have to get a ticket to attend. However, doing so helps ensure we have enough supplies, seating, freebies, etc. !

Kindred Connections Collective will host its 4th annual Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) on Thurs, Nov 20, 2025 at 5:00 PM at the House of Neighborly Service as we honor and remember our trancestors.

TDOR is a free, all ages, all community in-person event providing space for connection, remembrance, reflection, support, and solidarity.

What can you expect?

Communal Altar - Please come help build this year's altar in collective care and love. There will be materials onsite, and as always, please feel free to bring offerings to add.

Names Reading - We say our names out loud, to build collective memory, to move our grief so our kin know that in us, they always have home.

Healing Spaces - Offerings are provided and guided by local QTBIPoC healing practitioners.

DJ & QTBIPOC Performers - Local artists bringing all the fire, talent, and love.

Food and beverage - Vendors will be on-site with vegan, gluten free, and meat options. A free meal and drink will be provided for the first 85-100 QTBIPoC attendees onsite.

Resource & Vendor Fair - Free services and info from local QT/BIPoC serving groups and orgs and goodies for sale from local QT/BIPoC makers.

ASL & Spanish Translation provided.
